Structures Construction was asked to perform work for Blue Sky Bakery & Café; a nonprofit organization with a transitional Employment Program for homeless and at-risk youth. Their 12-week program provides the at-risk youth an opportunity to gain valuable work experience and after completed, Blue Sky helps them to secure long term employment.
When Structures Construction was retained to complete the renovations for the bakery, we chose to donate all the painting and associated supplies. Several of our employees were glad to donate their time and improve their painting skills.
We were happy to be a part of this project and donate time and resources to a great cause. If your company has entry-level job or internship openings, please consider hiring one of Blue Sky Bakery’s graduates.
