Archer Courts Apartments located in the vibrant Chinatown Neighborhood of Chicago is comprised of two 74-unit buildings. Structures Construction was hired by Prairie Management and Development to undertake a comprehensive renovation project encompassing all 148 units, including the modernization of kitchens and bathrooms. The work extended beyond individual units to enhance the collective community experience, with renovating both interior and exterior common spaces.
The scope of work extended far beyond mere aesthetics, as Structures Construction executed crucial infrastructure upgrades. These included the replacement of the roofs, the intricate installation of new underground hot water supply and return lines interconnecting the two buildings, and the addition of sleek canopies above the renovated lobbies.
Structures Construction accomplished all tasks seamlessly while the buildings remained fully occupied by tenants. Our collaborative approach, engaging closely with the architect, management team, and residents alike, facilitated a smooth renovation process. Despite the complexities inherent in working within an occupied space, we prioritized tenant satisfaction and safety throughout every stage of the project. Our goal was not only to deliver superior results, but also to ensure minimal disruption to the daily lives of the residents, maintaining a positive living environment even amidst renovation activities.
